I recently made a complaint against Judge Simon Brown QC, alleging serious
misconduct in court case *B40BM021. *The web form was only 3000 characters,
and it was not long enough to write a proper account of his bias in that
case. I did email the ombudsman with a more complete version of the events
in that hearing, but in case he is on holiday or something, I thought I
would email the JCIO using the address on its website,

The allegations pretty much make up the bulk of the grounds for appeal,
which I have sent to the Court of Appeal to get permission for an appeal.
You can read them yourself in the pdf attached. Basically, every point of
that appeal is an allegation of judicial misconduct, and all the evidence
should be supported in the court recordings and the documents sent to the
court.

I summarize the bias in part 14;

*So I face a defendant who cannot be cross-examined orally or in writing,
who*
*pleads a bare denial, who fails to turn up for the oral hearing he applied
for, who*
*is accused by BaFin of providing false Libor reports to the Bundesbank,
who does*
*not answer the basic allegations of audit rigging, who knows the answers,
who has*
*resigned in disgrace, and whose advocate is called Judge Simon Brown QC.*

Thank you for your email of 10th August 2015. I have been able to access y=
our letter of 8th August 2015 addressed to myself however I am unable to o=
pen the documents relating to your appeal. I can inform you that I am not =
concerned with these documents as I imagine that they detail your technica=
l argument / reasons concerning the rulings of HHJ Brown, which will have =
no bearing on your complaint with this Office about his personal misconduc=
t.

I have read your letter of 8th August, although I admit that I have not do=
ne so in great detail just yet. However I have observed that you have touc=
hed on point three of your complaint. In my letter of 6th August 2015, I a=
sked you for more information that the Judge had favoured the Defendant be=
cause of his political leanings but you say that to understand this part o=
f your complaint I should review the entire transcript of the court record=
ing or listen to the recording itself as the hearing was entirely one side=
d. Please note that it would not be appropriate for this Office to listen =
to the whole of the hearing and that it would not be for this Office to id=
entify the behaviour complained of. It would be for you to demonstrate tha=
t he because of his political opinions, the Judge was compelled to behave =
in a certain way during the hearing, in addition, it would be for you to i=
ndicate at precisely which parts of the hearing this happened.

May I request this information by the date I previously provided, ie by 27=
th August 2015. Once I have received further information from you, I will =
consider your letter of 8th August 2015 in more detail and I will then wri=
te to you with my findings about your complaint in accordance with the jud=
icial conduct rules.

Dear Mr Jones,
   I should inform you that as of late, UBS, the 5th defendant in the
lawsuit, has confessed to the US Department of Justice of precious metal
price manipulation. It appears to have blown the whistle on Barclays Bank,
HSBC and Deutsche Bank - the 4th, 3rd and 2nd defendants respectively. This
was reported by Bloomberg recently.

In a set aside application I made to the High Court dated 4th October, UBS
and the other defendants were made aware of Bloomberg'a allegations, and
have not denied the allegations. Nor did they deny to lying in te July
hearing. I enclose a copy of that application so you can see the
allegations for yourself, as they were articulated in part 5.

All of this should demonstrate that my claim was never vexatious, and Judge
Simon Brown's verdict was offensive, corrupt and absurd.
